Chilly Hilly (Road Marshaling)
Each year Squeaky Wheels supports the Cascade Bicycle Club Chilly Hilly ride around the Bainbridge Island. It’s one of our largest fundraisers and requires many hands to help make it run successfully. We setup volunteer Road Marshals to keep riders safe, on the day of Chilly Hilly (always the last Sunday in February), If we can commit to at least 3 hours, please contact volunteer coordinator Elizabeth Ozimek – at email@example.com and express your interest in helping on either the Saturday before the event or on the day of.
Grand Ole 4th
Each year Squeaky Wheels rides in the 4th of July Parade, Sponsored by Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce. Harkening back to an earlier time, this fun event is open to anyone to ride, carry signs, or chase the Pie float. If you are interested in helping out, contact us at – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our signature event, Squeaky Wheels’ Bike for Pie is a fun day that is put together by more than a dozen volunteers. There’s room for you to help out, too. We need pie-bakers, sign-makers, safety marshals, a clean-up crew, ride support crew and other folks to make the event go smoothly, both on the day and in advance of the event, which is in August. If you are interested in helping out, contact us at – email@example.com.
