• The Core 40 miles of road improvements on Bainbridge island, have been identified in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for years, however only modest progress has been made.  The goal of the Core 40 is to allow for safe vehicle traffic flow sharing the public right of way roads used specifically by cyclists, pedestrians and all other users of the community.
