Squeaky Wheels see you at the Pasta Dinner!

squeaky wheels is the non-profit bicycle support group of Bainbridge Island, Washington in Puget Sound off the coast of Seattle. Founded in the early '90s when B.I. Cycles was still in Rolling Bay next to Bay Hay and Feed, sw works to promote safe bicycling here on Bainbridge Island through legislation, education and social events. Many, many people have donated time over the years to make squeaky wheels the vital organization it is today. On May 1, 2008, Bainbridge Island was among eleven communities honored with the League of American Bicyclists prestigious Bicycle Friendly Community designation.

Site of the Pacific northwest's season-opening bicycle ride, the Chilly Hilly, Bainbridge Island offers many scenic rides for visitors. Bainbridge Island is also home to many dedicated bicycle commuters and recreational cyclists. sw sponsors local bike events such as the annual Bike to Work and School Day in May, bike safety classes and of course, the Bike for Pie ride in August.

I haven't even begun to list all the things we do, but you can read more about what we do here
.

squeaky wheels is a non-profit, 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization. Come help us. It's fun. Worst case, you get a bike ride.
