Squeaky Wheels

We are current cyclists and we love to bike. We plan and support fun events to encourage people to ride too. We see the need for major infrastructure improvements to accomplish our mission. We are working to make cycling a safe choice and promote it becoming a part of Bainbridge Islanders’ everyday lives.

The organization was founded in 1994 by a group of bicyclists concerned about bicycle safety and access on the island. Squeaky Wheels is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Donations to Squeaky Wheels may be tax-deductible – you should consult a tax expert to confirm.

Squeaky Wheels is an all-volunteer organization with a board of directors. The current board membership is shown below.
